DIMAD with the Madrid City Council has announced a call for entry for their festival Madrid Grafica '17 competition.
The theme is 'The Light City'. As one of the judges, I was invited to design a poster and give an additional statement.
"Millions of people come to New York to see skyscrapers, but because of them they cannot see the sky. As Lou Reed said in his song, Open House, “but there are no stars in the New York sky, they’re all on the ground.” In future modern cities the light will be coming from below not from above."
