Re-brand of UGG shoes - an ethical approach

Re-branding UGG

In the past UGG has had a reputation as being a feminine brand mostly defined by the famous 'UGG boot' - a cosy and casual shoe for women. They are also known for the unethical standing on the use of left over sheep's wool etc.

My project was to focus on the Men's branding, creating a more meaningful and ethical approach. The logo with created using the basis of the Byron Bay lighthouse structure, in which the UGG brand started. I chose strong, empathetic words to create an emotional tie to the brand.
Along with other products, I created a supporting brochure promoting how UGG create blankets using the left over sheep wool and give these away to the 'Shelter' charity.
