Desde pequeño ya me pasaba horas dibujando. Pero no descubrí mi vocación hasta los 16 años. Ingresé como alumno en la escuela de Ernesto Forteza y pronto me descubrí como pintor.
Concentrado en la “técnica” (académica-clásica) me sentí muy influenciado por la sobriedad de las pinturas barrocas especialmente de Velázquez y Ribera.
