Architecturally the building is functionally somber, yet light and elegant architecture, which takes its influences from classical forms, stripped bare to reveal its essence.

Centred around a central double volume, the internals are bathed in light from the upper gallery lighting. Materiality is stripped back to white rendered walls, polished concrete floors, and white painted steel, forming a patinaed blank canvas for the exhibition of the furniture.
