Janus is the Greek God of "double-speak". In a sense he's the God for all politicians. They are after all the true masters of "double-speak". This was inspired by a brief meeting I had a with politician at a social event. He couldn't talk without contradicting himself constantly. It was exhausting and frustrating being in his company.
