2017's Tell Me a Story celebrated the power of storytelling to turn a challenge into comedy. Some of 826LA’s funniest friends—and our young authors—recounted hilarious tales from their own childhoods. More than 400 creative and philanthropic Angelenos joined in paving the way for the next generation of Los Angeles storytellers and raised $475,000. By raising crucial funds, Tell Me a Story helps keep 826LA’s programs free and accessible to the students who need them most.
