This is a Greek mythology called “Pandora’s Box”, which often beencited to reflect the irremediable socialchaos. This art show intention is to discuss the possibilities of searching thehidden hope within themonstrous, grotesque and ugliness ofour present world.
Theexhibited art works are presented through a character with a box head, leadingaudience to peek in the symbolization of various social issues, to arouse theirthought of these phenomenons. Gloominessvisual and inarticulate character has depict the helpless and powerless ofmodern people in confront with the realistic condition.
People arealways dispirited by irremediable realistic, to avoid viewers fall into thetotal negative mood, the cartoon type design of the main character appears to beessential and inevitably, to embed the naive, hope and little dawn light in thedecadent mood.
Naive and curiosity is a double-edged sword. The disasterin the Pandora’s box were unleashed due to the curiosity, for this reason thehuman society has paid the heavy price. Now, we should make good use of thisnaively with the curiosity, seeks for the hope, and improves imperfections, lookingforward to track down a more glorious future.
