2 weeks from now, I've been on vacation with my girlfriend in Berlin, and we all know what Germany went thought these last decades. You can easily notice the evolution of german history with their landscape, and also their buildings.

In this serie of photographs you won't see much of the destroyed ones, but still you'll probably noticed some buildings from the U.S.S.R period and the more recent ones.

This country learned how to rise up from the ashes and it's quite impressive to see these differences between past and present, they didn't want to erase it, they wanted to keep it as a memorial of what this country went thought. I also found it interesting to try to capture this evolution.
