FLOOD: A SOLUTION TO ITSELF

ABSTRACT | Guevarra (2013). The Philippines is a tropical country that is rich in water. Unfortunately, it has experienced intensive rainfall due to natural and manmade catastrophes of improper management of our resources. As the metropolis grows and develops, it eventually led to severe excess water by sealing of the earth’s field and the rapid climate changes. Floods have become a way of life for people but due to failure interventions, it affects the quality of life. The project achieved the creation of an Oasis City in the Metropolis through adaptation and reinforcement of an existing idea specifically done through historical and case study methods to formulate better management of flood and to establish an effective plan to the context of the city.
