Restaurant Reservation Website

Restaurant Reservation Website - Homepage Wireframe
Created For: "User-Centered Design" course at Rasmussen College – Summer Quarter (2015)

Goal: My goal for this UX study was to observe users using an existing restaurant reservation website. I then used this information to plan out my own (fictitious) restaurant reservation website that was clear, easy to understand, and solved users' pain points.

Materials Used:
Microsoft Word
Adobe Photoshop
Pencil Project to create the wireframes
Creately to create the site map

Process:
This project required me to create a die cut box template that made the product as appealing as possible, clearly showed what the product was for/about, and helped the product stand out from its competitors.

To make this die cut box template, I first created the template by breaking down a box of cake mix and using it as a guide. I then put together a color scheme and combined it with fun typefaces, mouthwatering stock photography, and vector illustrations made by me to create a box of cake mix that helped the brand stand out. It also showcased the product in the best light possible and explained to consumers why this cake mix was worth buying.
