A whole new world of indulgence— Maruti Suzuki Dzire
The new Dzire has been launched by Maruti Suzuki with a completely revamped look.

First launched almost ten years ago on the platform of Swift, the Dzire rose quickly to capture the attention of the affordable sedan-loving Indian customers.

Bringing the new model at a time when the customer’s interest is moving more toward utility vehicles, one can say that this model could prove to be another winner from the house of Maruti.
The new Dzire is one of the most good looking vehicles coming from MSIL. From the wider and lower dimensions of the new car, to the squat stance, the new car looks a lot different than the earlier one, which looked more of an extended version of Swift. The wide grille combined with the chrome accents, accentuates this wide stance and the LED headlamps and daytime running lights add to the design up front, making it look very contemporary and at a price which already has had customers lining up.

Before its official launch on May 16, MSIL had already got over 33,000 bookings.
While designing the all-new Dzire, MSIL engineers have really worked hard on the fresh look. The A pillar has been redesigned from being quite upright to a more angular swooping look, which gives the car a more original sedan look. The car also gets a set of 15-inch wheels; steel ones on the lower variants and diamond cut alloys on the higher models to provide greater comfort.

While designing special care has been taken on the boot, which is more spacious than before and with well-lined tail lamps, which are LED units and standard on all models, the rear look gets a much-needed upgrade.

The new Dzire is plusher and better equipped. It is also larger and the new platform means more space. It is wider in the front and in the rear as compared to the older car.
The front seats are 20mm more apart and the rear seats are 30mm wider and this had been accomplished both by a wider platform and a reworked seat design. You also get a rear AC vent and a fold down central console with some cup holders.
A touchscreen unit has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard and also houses inbuilt navigation. The touchscreen is responsive, easy to use and is one of the nicest screens on any sub 10-lakh rupee car. The new Dzire also gets climate control on the top spec Z and Z+ models.
Transmission options though have been slightly revised and both the engines get a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT as an option. Mileage has improved across the board.
All in all, it is a sedan that’ll exceed your expectations, is worth its price and stylish.
