PRESENCE/ABSENCE

Six images were made linocut technique. Linocut chisel worked on in a manner appropriate to give a print of range of grays. I used cut through the matrix of dots, sometimes increasing their intensity. The compositions are vertical and horizontal, highlighted by a slim, narrow shape. Open to the free system. The distinctive structure of the work of creating abstract elements of a plane - plant. The graphic structure can be distinguished in several areas, this close to realism in the figures of women, but also abstract, unreal, almost surreal shapes and close plants. There are divided into black and white contrasts, which shall break the tones of gray. Although the characters are static dimension, the elements in the space of graphics add some dynamism to them. The formation of a multi-stage work schedule, where the image was created first painter's own creative vision, and then obtained his photograph gave the appropriate textures, prepared earlier photographs of plants, wood and linocuts own elements, monotypes, creating one unified whole composition. My work is a representation of the female body, her portrait in a state of decay, cracked with dense often rot in the elements giving rise to organic associations, close to nature.
