Ceramic & concrete sprouter

Industrial Design
Ceramic & concrete sprouter - Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright's 'Falling water' house.
The basic idea is that the entire structure is easy to assemble, take apart and store with no hassle. The concrete columns, all slightly different sized, fit like pieces of puzzle into their base.
The ceramic parts are comprised of a water basin, two seed growing drawers and a flat slab. The slab fits in a groove in the concrete columns, making them act as one structure.
Seeds are placed in the top drawer, and water is applied periodically. The water then flows on a slight angle through holes in the bottom, to the lower drawer. From there, a second set of seeds get washed, and the water comes out through a slit in the front of drawer, in a small waterfall, filling the basin below. The basin is sufficiently large to hold water steadily when carrying it to the sink.
I wanted to capture the essence of 'Falling water', but give it an expression of my own.
The terraced design of the slab and drawers provides a shadowy environment, in which home grown sprout flourish.
I used ceramics and concrete because I love the contrast between the materials, and in this case, the concrete also provided a strong base for the design.
