Here I'm leaving a school project I'm working on for my "Matte Painting" class, it's almost finished, there are a few details I need to improve.
It's a combination of two cities: Dubai and Shangai; Shangai was used to fill
some blanks in the Dubai picture and maybe create a brand new city.
In the end, the final size of the matte painting was 10 GB
it was made in about 2 months and it's still having trouble with some light effects.

Every building is in a different layer
Here I'm adding "destroyed building textures" and with rust brushes I made this look old, burned and dirty. The grass looks a little bit fake.
I added some fire texture, orange reflects.
It's almost finished, there are few details I need to add / This is not the final product.
