Irish Rail - Customer First Project
The overarching strategy and philosophy for Irishrail.ie was to place the user at the heart planning a successful journey. The site is Irish Rail’s eCommerce shop-front and a central pillar of Irish Rail’s strategic Customer 1st programme, which seeks to enhance all digital touch-points including online, kiosk or in-station.
Strata3 are part of an integrated partnership including; Irish Rail Marketing & IT, Squills in the Netherlands & Hacon in Germany who are all committed to a user-centric ethos.
My involvement in this project was primarily working alongside my colleagues to come up with a more user friendly experience for planning a journey with Irish Rail and implementing a simple, user friendly UI to accompany this.
