This is one of my latest designs on Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. The image was loosely based on a drag queen named Kimora Blac—constructed as part of my series of fan art (link here), but I wanted to re-create an original image that used elements of her clothing to create something completely new and original. I wanted to blend something rather stylish and euphoric with the character's movement and posture, but make the tones very bright and soft, an element that I rarely touch into. I wanted the character to look very joyful but subtle in facial expressions, so I used Photoshop to add in the additional tones, colouring and shading to give it a realistic, feminine and organic atmosphere. The purposes of this piece was to help me focus further on my character design development and style, which I hopefully will achieved by the end of this year.
