Remix Songs: TAS (Digital Media) Project #8-

This was the final project in TAS Digital Media. This project revolved around making music around acapellas that I found on YouTube and creating music around them. The acapellas I used were Jennifer Hudson's single called Spotlight, and Mary J. Blige's song called I Can Love You. I used a variety of Drum loops, and different instruments as well as different instrument loops for different sections of the song. Remixing each song required me to find what key the songs were in or changing the key of the song temporarily to match the keys I was playing. It also required me to find the BPM of each song using online resources. The quality of these tracks was better than I expected also it took me several attempts to mix down the song and have a final product that I thought sounded good enough.
