CHASE, GONE
Objective_
Choose a song and catches it's emotion, idea and concept. Develop a unique visual and typographical composition to interpret the song.
Approach_
The song I choose is Pink Floyd's "Time". It's a song about how our time past quickly but we didn't know when we were young. One day when we became older, we tried to make up for the time we wasted in our life, but then realized it is too late. The song starts with heavy clock ring and i used black bars and squares to express the idea of the clock ticking. The overall composition and color are based on the concept of time past.
Process_
I printed the type and design elements on transparency paper and put them on a traditional projector. Photographed the images which reflected on the wall.
