Sons of Steam is a hardcore MMO adventure game set in a post-apocalyptic world where the player is put into mankind's largest surviving city after an unknown calamity.
It bases itself on exploration, survival and emphasizes heavily on preparation for expeditions into the outside world. Its stress on preparation comes from the fact that the death of your character is permanent (hence the term "hardcore MMO") and that resources are very rare to come by.
Your character's stats, feats and skills play an important role in his survivability and weather conditions play huge roles in terms of factors such as your character's hunger, physical health and strength against monsters.
