Interior Design Project
This MFA studio project required us to simply create a luxury space. The only requirements were that it fit into a 20' x 20' square. I didnt fell it was appropriate to design an interior space without considering its container, and its environment, so I set off to design the exterior space as well.
I wanted to create a space that I could learn and teach my children about nature, art and design in an environment of unequaled natural beauty. I settled on a studio in Big Sur, CA.

The studio needed to be close to nature, like a cabin or a tent.
