Colombia una nación entre selvas y dos océanos, bañada por ríos y con corazones llenos de pasión para enfrentar cada día, ha sentido en su tierra el dolor de la guerra. Ha sido testigo de innumerables actos violentos y barbaros que han marcada a cada uno de los colombianos y ha forjado un imaginario externo que estigmatiza a sus gentes en el exterior.
El Catatumbo en medio de la selva de Norte de Santander ha sido el campo de batalla de enfrentamientos sin fin entre agentes del estado y actores armados por el control del territorio que unos utilizan para la siembra de coca y los otros anhelan proteger para que la tranquilidad regrese a esta nación anónima que no tiene paz ni presencia estatal. Pero a pesar de que esto continúe pasando desde años atrás, sus gentes aun no olvida como sonreír y ser felices.
Colombia, a nation between jungles and two oceans, bathed by rivers and with hearts full of passion to face every day, has felt in its land the pain of war. He has witnessed innumerable violent and barbarous acts that have marked each of the Colombians and forged an external imaginary that stigmatizes its people abroad.
The Catatumbo in the middle of the jungle of Norte de Santander has been the battlefield of endless confrontations between agents of the state and armed actors for the control of the territory that some use for the sowing of coca and the others yearn to protect so that the tranquility return to this anonymous nation that has no peace or state presence. But even though this continues to happen for years, its people still do not forget how to smile and be happy.
