"Any Mottos?" | Leaflet Design

This project that began in early May was based around the idea of creating a single-sided leaflet that expresses to viewers, through the visual style of a conversation-between-two structure, a collection of life-related mottos that in some way come as a surprise to the person who asked.

The idea was that the mottos came from only one source, a source that could potentially be a blog, social media page, or a form of published media. This interpretation itself I have decided to leave open to the viewers.

In terms of the colour palette and textures, the idea was to keep the vibe of the leaflet as warm and as cheerful as possible, despite some of the mottos having certain ideologies that people may find are either too true to comprehend, or could make them doubt the way they live their lives. Hence, the confused “… dude.” response.

The display mockup for this leaflet, as you will see below, is based on a simple stacked-up pile to which viewers can easily take a leaflet from, should they feel intrigued to read further.
