STiTCH (nursing) Foot Stool

With this project the traditional nursing stool receives a much needed update. The form is simple and refined. A slight angle helps make STiTCH comfortable for the user. The laces or "stitches" add a bit of color and whimsy to the piece but they also help keep STiTCH in one place by creating traction. The laces can be changed to accommodate the color scheme of any room. And finally, when the child moves away from a liquid diet, STiTCH enjoys a second life by coming up off the floor. While sitting in bed or on the couch STiTCH can be placed over the user's lap creating an ideal platform for a laptop.
