Agrale Marruá Mk2 Concept

This was my final assignment for the Product Design program at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. It consists of a proposal for the package and exterior design of the next-generation Agrale Marruá. The Marruá, built in Caxias do Sul, Brazil, is an extremely rugged off-roader which sees wide use by the Brazilian Army, as well as by numerous contractors. This concept intends to build on these values while reaching for a wider public.
Package
The package features a greater total length and longer wheelbase than the Mk1 Marruá. It also has a removable roof, which allows the vehicle to be used in three modes:

1. Station wagon: with roof and rear seats in place, the Marruá offers comfortable accomodation for four adults, or two adults and three children, in addition to 465 liters for cargo.

2. Droptop: with the seats in place and the rear roof section removed, the occupants can travel in comfort while experiencing greater contact with the environment. This configuration can be used e.g. in expeditions and other off-road activities.

3. Pick-up truck: with the roof section removed and the rear seats folded, the vehicle can be used to transport tall objects which would otherwise could not be carried in an off-roader of this size
