Much of Kafka's work is about the gentle stretching of an already vivid reality. The type is supposed to represent the historocism of Bucephalus' presence in our modern world, but also an oeuvre that is Kafka's only. Much of the challenge in making this story into a film would relate to its being only one page, the reverse of the real-world problem we often face in theaters.
