After taking photos of the newborn, editing and narrowing down our photos to one, the mother and I came up with a layout for the card. I used photoshop to add the gradient up top and create more pillows at the bottom. Then, I worked the text in using Illustrator. The mother was very happy with the results to have sent out to friends and family.
This is the original image without editing and Photoshop work. Later, more pillows were added to fit a Portrait view.
This is the image with the added pillows so it would look better in a portrait viewing format.
