Application Developer Tools & Resources On The Web
As we have been writing about mobile application development all week, for our Friday Feature we share with you some valuable resources we have found on the web. Enjoy! Our Readers’ Opinion and feedback matter to us.  Please rate and share our post with all your developer friends out there too!
Xcode Tips for the Savvy IOS Developer
If you are new to Xcode read our easy to understand, the nontechnical article from earlier this week: What type of code is Xcode?  With the release of Xcode 8.3, this developer toolset has become more and more in demand. As with all our recommendations, we find that the article which sums it up is it the go-to in most cases. With a wonderful description of different topics including keyboard shortcuts, The Assistant Editor as well as a list of Xcode extensions to look into if you are a developer worth your salt.
Our favorite mention in the article is the list of Plugins with their description – important to add functionality to your app. Written by Nathan Hillyer – Xcode tips for the savvy IOS developer is a recommended must read by Zapro Digital.
10 Mobile App Designs for User Experience Inspiration
We would like to add a touch of inspiration regarding these developer tools. We especially like the post by  1stwebdesigner.com, illustrating beautiful mobile app designs that offer an excellent user experience in their writing titled “10 Mobile App Designs for User Experience Inspiration “
“With so many mobile apps being released in such a short period of time, designers need to create apps that stand out from the rest.” Comparatively, the Editorial Team sure knows what they are talking about. In addition, they share some valuable tips on the use of color, iconography, and alignment in mobile design trends today.
Must-have Developer Tools for Android Development
If you are not a member of the AndroidPub community, we highly recommend you become one. If you are an Android developer that is!
In the article, “Must-have tools for Android development” by Adit Lal – he shares with us how one can improve and learn to build better android apps. With a focus on performance improvements, the author speaks from experience and shares knowledge he has learned along the way. A valuable read which includes everything you would want to add to your development arsenal. From code samples to tools you can download to use alongside Android studio.
We absolutely love their recommendation “Finally, a list before you launch — Playbook for Developers“. The Ultimate Pre-Release Checklist for Android App Success On Play Store. Read it!
Announcing Xamarin’s Xcode 8.3 Support
Another X-Factor mention here, if you excuse the pun. Our contribution will not be complete without a mention of the good old Microsoft. New Microsoft that is! Particularly, Xamarin has come under the spotlight this week, and what better forum than the creators themselves at xamarin?
Latest news from the application development community on Xamarin. Developers can download and install the latest version of Xamarin on Mac or Windows. Take advantage of the new APIs introduced in developer tools, Xcode 8.3. Essentially, this will also include App Store rating management and the ability to use adaptive icons.
For more information, I highly recommend our article on Xamarin, titled: Mobile App Development & App Creation Software. Perhaps our contributions may also be part of your developer toolsets one day – We can only hope.
50 Android Studio Tips, Tricks and Resources
Another must for your developer tools library on android development, we found a summary of all the essentials.  MMBS’ Blog divided their contributions neatly into divisions Visual, Shortcuts and helpful commands, Plugins, and resources. Superbly written by Michal Bialas – an Android Developer at Pie Mapping.
We especially recommend the section on Keyboard shortcuts and commands. It also adds to our post from earlier this week. How can you use your favorite tool shortcuts in Android studio
I enjoyed writing this article today on developer tools, putting the Zapro Perspective on it. In conclusion, I hope you found this roundup helpful if you liked our post Rate it. Share It!. Thank You for joining our journey this week of application development!
