In this project I have taken an artwork- The Weeping Woman by Pablo Picasso as an inspiration and tried to express and present it through weaving.

While weaving on the frame loom, I have tried weaving and exploring the distinct and specific shapes in the artwork, trying to capture the literal way of presentation.

While working on the loom, I have tried to capture the abstract nature of the artwork by taking inspiration from the color scheme. I have presented the artwork as a wall hanging by expressing the combination of colors and the feel and texture.
