TheBearintown is a personal project I make to share my art.
These are the logos I have designed for Thebearintown.
The name tells the theme of my blog, chubby bear-like people in my own town.
I was inspired by my friends who are chubby and look powerful like bears, but if you get to know them it is easy to see the overwhelming cuteness. It is like discovering another side of people around you.
But mind you, as cute as they are, they are still ready to come to save the day. ;)

Design Explanation
With this logo, I would like to demonstrate strength with contrasting colours and sans-serif font.
I have a designed a main logo and a small logo to use in different concept and make it convenient to organize elements in designs. Additionally, I made Japanese versions to use in other events and projects.
Bright colours were mixed with black text to create the feeling of a lively and creative town. I have also used patterns of katakana and hiragana, mixing edgy patterns with soft and curly patterns for a contrasting but also perfect harmony.

Japanese logo for thebearintown was recreated with a completely different style.
I wanted to bring in youth while keeping the sharpness.
Thebearintown's name was changed to Mr.bear has arrived.
