University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa: Art and Art History

This project was a multi-part assignment from my third semester page layout class.

The first part of this project involved creating a new logo for a university program of our choice. I chose the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Department of Arts and Art History. I created a logo for the department that is both contemporary and rich in symbolism.
The logo works in both black/white or a two-tone Pantone color system, allowing it to be used across any range of signage, web and print applications, and merchandising.
For the second portion of the project, using the new logo to guide the development of the university program's new brand identity, I created a course guidebook for prospective students.

This 32-page saddle-stitched full color booklet features a die cut cover design which mimics the program's logo. This imagery continues throughout the book.
