Bakelite is the project of the duo formed by Sergio Llanos (founding member of Atom Rhumba, Yogur or Eureka Hot 4) and Naiara Anasagasti (Paniks). Naiara is in charge of the lyrics and the voice, always in Basque. She also plays drums (composed of two pieces, it does not need more) and the guitar alternately. Sergio takes care of the guitar and the choirs. Their compositions can go from the tranquility to the electrical storm, they fit from the blues and the folk to more noisy sonorities, always from a spartan instrumentation, bordering the limit with the minimum.

Their first LP Azeriak has been edited by the label Frigofingers.
