Fragmented Maps
The basic problem with the current norms of cartography is that they do not address the fundamental character of an environment or the ambient phenomena which they possess. The notion of visualising urban environments through memory mapping was the armature of investigation. Producing a new schema for cartography incorporating colour, line weight, type, and altering projections attempted to describe the experience of psycho-geographic spaces. The nature of these maps not only documents the urban experience but also creates a generative tool in the construct of the physical manifestation.
