The guidelines of this project were to find a graphic artifact, and through inspiration and appropriation, create our own graphic response to it. The artifact that I chose was an animation created by Yum Yum London.
All of the characters illustrated were designed by Yum Yum London, and are featured in their animation 'Happy Food Diner'. I particularly enjoyed the animation and aspire to the style of illustration, so I have re-imagined the diners as an interactive book, that splices the characters against each other. Much like a children's book.
I drew the characters by hand, scanned them in and made them into digital drawings that way. This project was a part of my degree study at the University of West London.
