Mega Laser Reef’s mission is to spread awareness of the negative climate changes, brought upon by human activities, that are impacting the oceans and its coral reefs. One of the greatest challenges of many wildlife conservation institutions is connecting to their audience and creating genuine ongoing interest in their efforts. Existing campaigns are great conversation starters, but may not educate the public or continue their interests as much as they would like. This arcade mobile app game will appeal to a larger audience, rejuvenating people’s excitement and appreciation of marine wildlife while educating them of the many threats caused by humans. It will also be a platform that allows players to contribute to real marine conservation groups and organizations from the comfort of their home by playing this mobile game.
