My illustrations and illuminated type for the book and limited edition slip case
Back in late January 2010 I was approached by Grade Design and Bloomsbury Publishing, Heston's publishing team, to see if I was interested in creating a number of illustrations and some typography for his new cook book, I duly bit their hand off. The timescales were very tight but I got a real sense from all involved that they were dedicated to creating something different and special. We worked tirelessly to complete what was one hell of a print project, my hat goes off to Peter at Grade Design and Richard at Bloomsbury, this book is a positive stew of team work and passion from every angle and the experience of working with them was incredible. They also put my name rather large in the introduction, Mum and Dad (both chefs) are very proud!
