Torch, my own design, 1:1

Vacuum formed styrene, acrylic, fast cast, lime wood, MDF, LED bulbs, cellulose spray paint.

After designing the torch I made a digital model of it in Rhino, halved the model lengthwise and sliced the shape into 17 profiles. I then used these profiles to build up the shape of the physical model (as shown below), before I vac-formed different thicknesses of styrene over the shape to make the casing and the "rubber" details.
