50th Birthday Invite
For this brief I was asked to create an invitation in the style of the era that the client was born, namely the 1960's. The brief required a lively eye-catching style that would also serve as a commemoration of the milestone.
I took inspiration from the counter culture of the time, and also the psychedelic art movement that was influential in many music posters. To add realism to the poster style there is a myriad of textures and effects applied throughout to give it an aged, worn look.
