Wayfinding strategy and design concept as part of OMA's proposal for the UAE pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020. Informed by the triangular grid employed by OMA in their design and the concept of infinite geometry present in islamic arts, the signage is designed to integrate into the architecture seamlessly while enhancing the visual identity of the host nation pavilion. The use of dichroic glass and play with refraction is inspired by the importance of light in Islamic architecture, symbolising the transcendent, the indivisible and the infinite.
