There is a playground for toddlers in the west side of the city. The playground offers the typical sandbox and swing sets and the whole area is surrounded with seating and dining space for parents. There are also a few retail spaces that offer a variety of services ranging from food, books, toys, ice cream, haircuts etc. The playground forbids balls in the sandbox area. But there are a number of little kids only wishing to kick the ball. This project aims for those kids who share a passion for soccer.

The place is only 40 square meters. The budget was 5000 USD. The space is converted into a small indoor soccer field providing the kids with an unmatchable playing experience. The floor is covered in high turf and there are field boundaries painted on it. Just one goal makes the game faster and inclusive. The goal is highlighted by a clear blue structure and the division walls are padded to prevent strong shoots to resonate in the neighbors' space. A cage protects two ceiling fans from direct hits.

The colors bring a dynamic aesthetic to the mini field.
