We were given the brief of improving the current self service betting terminals found in Ladbrokes stores. I worked closely with the IA to ensure that the experience was a better user experience as well as developing the visual treatment. Ladbrokes were happy for us to explore a visual treatment different to that of their current brand.
The working prototype was taken on a road show in Spain where the gambling laws allow betting machines to reside in public places - not currently allowed in the UK where they are in store only.
The kiosk allows users to place bets directly, check and add to their account balance and cash their winnings.
