I was snapping away with my Minolta Hi-Matic E when I felt and heard a snap as I advanced the film. 

Sure enough the film had detached from the cartridge so I hand spooled it back inside in the darkest room of the house. 

The film got fogged and in the spirit of embracing mistakes I decided I'd share some of the salvageable photos.
