I was at the Computer Centre just the other day and came across my favorite PC game of all time - Roller Coaster Tycoon by Atari. I have always been fascinated by the in-game designs of the shops and stalls such as the Drink Stall, the Popcorn Stall, the Candy Apple Stall and the long funtastic list of many more.

I am also always amazed by the Toy Story Zone park decorations at the Hong Kong Disneyland. And so I was inspired to create this little Sunday self-initiated design and illustration project of shops and stalls for an imaginary My Little Pony theme park. The series of shops are inspired by the lovable ponies, with references drawn from the existing brand elements and the "6 mane ponies" of course.

I am posting my quick brainstorm and simple sketches along with my color sketches for this project as i continue working on it. Check back for updates! 

I looked for shapes, symbols and items representative of AppleJack to incorporate into all A.J. stalls for easy recognition and consistency. The lasso, the horseshoe and apple signage will be applied. The hat will be incorporated into the architectural design of the Apple Stand and Candy Apple stall. Across all shops, the staff will put on the symbolic brown hat as part of their uniform.

This would be one of Apple Jack's stalls selling a variety of apples and all sorts of products made with apples harvested from the Sweet Apple Acres. 

Stop by this stall for A.J.'s signature apple cider on a hot summer day at the park. Always brewing for a good time with your friends.
