Torre Eiffel "Photoshopada" no Skyline de São Paulo, bem quando São Paulo parecia uma mistura de Nova York com Paris.
I though it would be fun or insightful, just to visualize/imagine what it would have looked like, if São Paulo stayed with its European influence in its city skyline, instead of almost replacing it and following the American cities like crazy. It would have been a very nice mix in the skyline, since the skyscrapers are not so big, and the neoclassical building are not so small.
I will be doing a series of this, and more pieces will be coming.
Eu achei que seria divertido, e talvez inspirador, poder visualizar/imaginar como pareceria se São Paulo não tivesse seguido tanto os modelos Americanos de cidade, e tivesse seguido mais os modelos Europeus de cidade, já que o Skyline da cidade era uma mistura de Arranha-céus não tão altos quanto os de Nova York, e de prédios Neoclássicos enormes. De qualquer forma, imaginar outros Skylines possíveis para São Paulo é muito interessante. Eu vou fazer uma série disso, e mais postarei mais peças no futuro.
The 3 main neoclassical buildings at the front, facing the imperial threes, were demolished. And there are 3 boxed-styled skyscrapers in their places.
Here a much older period, in 1905. The tallest skyscraper stands at only 50 meters high, it is the Sampaio building, between the 2 main neoclassic buildings. I photoshopped the Eiffel Tower right in the block where later would be constructed the Banespa and Martinelli buildings.
