 Angels in America -

A cover for the play "Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes,"
the 1993 Pulitzer Prize winning play, written in two parts by American
Playwright Tony Kushner. It has been made into both a television miniseries
and an opera by Peter Eotvos.
The play is set in New York in 1985, during the beginning years of the AIDS
crisis. It can be seen as a critique of the response to (or the ignoring of) the
AIDS epidemic in America and the homosexual community during the Regan era.
In the play Kushner writes about the idea of stasis versus change, which was a
direct response to the state of the American Government during the period he
wrote the play.
  Romeo + Juliet

The play "Romeo + Juliet" by William Shakespear. For the image I went with the theme of star crossed lovers, and the inevitable fate of the main characters.
 The Color Purple

An image for the book "The Color Purple" by Alice Walker.
 The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

A cover image for the book "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" by author Frank L. Baum.
 Dracula

A wrap around cover that I created for the book "Dracula" by  author Bram Stoker. For the image I went with the theme of a traditional christian triptych due to the heavy religious themes throughout the story. Christian triptychs usually involve three panels, with an image representing heaven on the left, purgatory in the middle, and hell on the right.
