Re Elect: Old Presidentspe of sub-title
For this exhibition, students have redesigned campaigns for former presidents as if they were running in today’s world. My candidate was Abraham Lincoln. With one of the most exciting election races to date, Lincoln went against three other strong candidates. Winning on merit, past speeches and the strong, newly-formed Republican party campaigns, Abraham Lincoln became the 16th President of the United States. Lincoln foresaw a fall of what the forefathers had originally built. Strong in character, he is still revered as one of America’s greatest presidents, saving the union from collapse in the Civil War. Known for his powerful words, Lincoln is represented here with excerpts from his best speeches.
