Eneco is one of the largest producers and suppliers of natural gas, electricity and heat in the Netherlands, serving more than 2 million businesses and residential customers.
During my internship I worked on the redesign of the Energy Manager website in order to provide a friendlier and clearer interface to the customers of Eneco. The new interface allows them to understand their consumption feedback in a better way.
Before starting with the redesign of the website, a user test was made in order to know what the users thought about the current site and therefore get an understanding of the usability problems that occur while using the interface for the first time.
The user's service appraisal was improved by solving all important usability problems detected in the analysis. As a final step, the redesign of the website was tested with users in order to see how they interact with the new design.
