Project Brief: Create a Postcard and a Brochure for an Exhibition at the the University at Buffalo Anderson Gallery.

This first stamp design/layout did not work out as the client and I had hoped so we abandoned it early in the setup stages and moved on to another idea which became the layout we went with.
We fell in love with the top design but couldnt use that layout throughout the piece due to limitations of the pieces of art that would be shown in the brochure. By slightly modifying the top layout we wre able to come up with a rock solid layout for that would work for all of the pieces that would be shown in the brochure.
Here is the final layout for the inside of the brochure. This solution was arrived at after studying how collections of stamps are displayed and exhibitied in stamp collecting circumstances.

The right panel, when opened contained a small writeup about the show and a bio of the collector.
The back cover of the brochure contained a complete checklist of the all of the pieces shown in the exhibiton and a small acknowledgements section.
