This character was created using digital painting techniques in Photoshop Elements. Most of the image was painted by hand, but I also incorporated texture images into the background and parts of the character's mask near the end of the process. This gave the image more depth. I chose to use Elements as a personal challange to learn the differences between Elements and Photoshop and broaden my software knowledge. I also wanted to challange myself by creating "lineless" art. I documented the process on polycount, incorporating critique to improve the piece as much as I could before adding it to my portfolio.
