Following some encouraging feedback from the souvenir programme cover artwork and additional wall banners I produced for last year's event, the England Hockey Board have again commissioned work ahead of the next Maxifuel Super Sixes event which is to be held at London's Wembley Arena.
They were keen to this time use goalkeepers as the focal point of any visuals, and asked me to capture the dynamism and fast-paced action of the sport in my work. Below are two of four illustrations which will be used across a variety of different medias; including the official website of the event, print in terms of promotional flyers and the souvenir programme, and then on a larger-scale throughout the venue itself on the day of the event.
