My client wanted an illustration of her and her "chicks," -also known as her best friends and roommates- in college. They appropriately called their house, "The Chicken Coop," and she wanted to commemorate it for a gift to each of them her senior year before they all embarked on different journeys. She gave me the names and a few fun facts about each girl and set me free to do my thing and boy was it one of the most fun projects I have done. I got to research each girl and make her personality come alive through a stick figure style chicken. Originally, this was commissioned before I had realized the wonders of photoshop, so it was all done by hand. Recently, I have wanted to explore more motion graphic techniques, so I have taken some time to go back and start digitizing each character so I can animate them. So be on the look out for that soon!
